Strabismus Surgery in the Chicagoland Area

This patient was diagnosed with exotropia, a form of strabismus in which the eyes turn outward. Dr. Ticho performed strabismus surgery in which he recessed, or weakened two muscles in each eye to achieve full flexibility and stable eye alignment. Healing after this type of procedure is relatively quick, and the patient resumed normal activities after a couple of days.
