Teja Alapati, M.D.

Teja Alapati grew up in Huntsville, AL, and attended school in Philadelphia, where he obtained undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. He did residency training at Tulane University and completed a prestigious cornea fellowship at the renowned Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary. He is fluent in Spanish and passionate about global outreach, with a focus on Latin America. When he is not practicing ophthalmology, he can usually be found in the dance studio or on the tennis courts.
