Just picked up my newest prescription glasses from Ticho’s Optical department and, needless to say, the glasses are perfect. The staff there helped me so much in choosing a new frame --- they listened to my needs as well as my preferences and ultimately I got the best frame that fits perfectly. I was also pleasantly surprised that the glasses came in so fast --- I was expecting to wait 2 - 3 weeks but they came in 9 DAYS later! I picked them up this morning, had a final adjustment in the frames and I’m a Happy Camper! More

I had a exam at Dr. Ticho’s office in Munster. Its a brand new office and it’s very clean and the Optical dept had so many good brands from glasses to decided from! The Optician was very kind and they spoke Spanish so that was even better for me. She took her time and  helped with the prices of my contacts as well! I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Ticho.  I just realized I have been seeing Dr. Ticho for 20 years.  Always able to get a quick appointment, great care, and thorough exams.  But when your eye doctor is boarding a plane and takes the time to call you about some of your test results, I call that going above and beyond!!  He also sent me for a special blood test and I received another personal call from him about those results.  He explained everything clearly and was very comforting.  I’m sure he knew I was a nervous wreck.  Thank you Dr. Ticho for your professionalism and for always caring!! I had cataract procedures for both eyes then eyelid surgery after that.  Those that I dealt with in the front office are polite even when it is very busy.  I value the one on one service that Dr. Ticho’s technicians gave me when preparing me to see the doctor and taking me from test to test.  The equipment, to me, is just amazing and is up to date.  Dr. Ticho explained very clearly my treatment plan and I went into both procedures very confident that my eyes were in good care. First time visit to TICHO Eye Associates.  Very nice office including its own optical center.  I was greeted by the very friendly and helpful receptionist  and then asked to wait for a few moments to be taken back.  Alyna was my technician.  She was very professional, organized and pleasant.  She did all my testing and then I followed up with Dr. Sanders.  Meeting a new healthcare provider can be intimidating and scary.   Dr. Sanders was kind, gentle, thorough and patient.  She answered all my questions and addressed my concerns.  I would definitely recommend TICHO for any optometry needs.  Thank you TICHO!Debra Pogwizd-Schroedle More
