My mom went to see Dr. Ticho about scheduling cataract surgery and was very pleased with both he and his staff. They made her feel very comfortable and welcome. They also listened to her concerns and answered many questions. She had quite a few since she was very nervous about getting the surgery with not knowing what to expect. She left with a lot more comfort and peace of mind. So far she has had one eye done with great success and minimal discomfort. She will get her other eye done in a week. She wanted to give special thanks to one of the office staff whose name is Amanda. She took her time from the start and explained the entire process thoroughly including payment options. She always has a smile on her face and is willing to help anyway she can. We were very impressed with her and wish there were more people like her to help make a somewhat scary experience so much easier to get through. I highly recommend this doctors office. A+ More

From the very beginning it looked like a professional, quality operation. I spoke with many people at Ticho and each person knew their job well. My eyes were tested thoroughly and they determined I needed cataract surgery. I had been told that elsewhere also, so I was prepared for surgery. When I went in for cataract surgery everything was in place and ready to go. The people that work in Tinley Woods Surgical Center are very friendly, compassionate and put you at ease. They asked me several times “why are you here today”? Of course, they knew why I was there. They were making sure I knew why I was there. The surgery went well, very minor pain.
